Our story
Gemstickets was founded in Cairo in 2024, weeks before the Grand Egyptian Museum opened its doors to the world. We saw a generational moment — one of the largest museums on Earth, dedicated to the longest continuous civilisation in history — and a booking experience that did not yet match the ambition of the building.
We started with a simple promise: a traveller in Madrid, a school group in Alexandria, and a family in Tokyo should all reach the museum gate with the same calm confidence. No fax forms, no surprise queues, no broken QR codes.
Today we serve guests from more than 90 countries. Every line of our product, from the calendar to the e-ticket PDF, is rebuilt in close partnership with the museum's visitor experience team.
